【易错】 在该结构中,不同形式的非谓语动词作宾补时的含义不同:表示将来的动作用to do;表示主动、进行用doing;表示被动、完成用done。

while doing...状语从句的省略

while doing/done是状语从句的一种省略现象,即while之后省略了主语和be动词,其中doing常表示主动、进行,而done表示被动。
【归纳】 状语从句的省略条件及省略内容 :
在表示时间、条件、地点或让步等的状语从句中,当从句的主语与主句的主语一致或者从句的主语为it,且从句的谓语部分含有be动词时,常省去从句的主语和be动词。

【易错】 not only...but also...连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词遵循就近原则,即谓语与就近的主语保持一致。
